Grand Marais, Early 1900s
This group photo was taken in the early 1900s, in front of the
Grand Marais Club which also housed the Masonic Lodge on the
second floor. The Grand Marais Club was considered "the" club
to belong to if you considered yourself of a more refined element.
The Club's rooms were richly paneled and hosted many an
important social event.
