We were able to zoom in on the gas station....

Anybody remember Red Crown Gasoline?  If so, perhaps you can help us date this picture.  E-mail us if you have an idea of when this might have been taken!

We recevied the following note from Barbara Braun:

In the Then and Now page you have a picture of the gas station that was built by my grandfather R.H. Wood and his partner (?) Touzel in 1929. I showed this picture to my dad, Jack Wood and he thinks this was taken between 1935 and 1938. The pump was bought outright and you could put any brand of gas you wanted into it. Red Crown was regular and White Crown was considered premium.
