Where Is this Vantage Point?
Here's a great old postcard of Grand Marais, but nothing looks familiar!  Was this taken east of downtown, looking west?  Is that the old General Store way in the background?  Or are we all wet?  If anyone can identify this point, let us know and we'll go take an updated photo.  If you'd like to see a closeup, click here (this will take about 20 seconds to load).

Any ideas when this photo might have been taken?  The closeup shows a woman wearing a shorter skirt and heavy stockings or boots. 1910 - 1925, perhaps?
