*June 26-27, 2010*	*Grand Marais Offshore Challenge* - Two Days of fishing out of Grand Marais Harbor! First place prize is $4000 this year! Limit of 30 boats, so register early. Kids Trout Fishing Pond on June 26th.

*February 2011*	Cabin Fever Saturday! Join us for fun and food as we celebrate winter with snowmobile and snowshoe poker runs, a chili cookoff, a cardboard sled competition, a snowman building contest, and more!
*February 2011*	*UP 200 Sled Dog Championship -* help us welcome the mushers and their four-footed teams back to Grand Marais! The teams arrive in the late morning and afternoon, and head back to Marquette in the evening. Join us at the Rec Center for a close-up look.
*June 2011*	*11th Annual Splash-In on the Bay* - Watch as Sea Planes "splash in" on the bay! With aviation games and a steak fry dinner on Saturday. A colorful event promoting Aviation in Grand Marais.
*June 2011*	*Historical Society Yard Sale*- Residents are invited to donate used household goods, clothing, toys, etc. You may drop off your used items at the Community Center Barn after 9:00am; the sale will be held from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Dollar-a-Bag Sale starting at noon. Come find a bargain!
